So Emotionally Rafael Nadal Plays With An Official Roger Federer Raket

JAKARTA - Spanish tennis player, Rafael Nadal, was so emotional during the match with Roger Federer, Saturday, September 24, WIB. Understandably, it was the last match of the Swiss tennis legend.

Nadal and Federer competed in the Laver Cup as a couple. They dropped in doubles and had to stop in the first half.

For Nadal, it is a great honor to be a part of the incredible moment in the history of this sport. He admitted that part of him was lost to Federer's retirement.

"At the same time for years we shared a lot of things together," Nadal said, as quoted by Antara from AFP, Saturday, September 24. "When Roger left the tour, an important part of my life went too."

Federer and Nadal, who have won 42 Grand Slam singles titles, talk warm about their friendship. In fact, they have been fierce rivals for nearly two decades.

"It's amazing," Federer said. "I think we're enjoying each other together, and we have a lot to look back on, but we're also enjoying just spending time together."

"We have a million topics to discuss. I always feel that every night we spend together, we never have enough time."

Nadal also said his relationship with Federer was a "very long and positive journey."

"For me he has always been the one to lose," he said. "So at some point we may be the biggest rival, always in a very good way."

"We have great respect for each other, family, team. I mean, we've never had big problems... I mean, when we get older, I think every year personal relationships get better and better. Very proud to be a part of his career in some ways."

"But even for me it's happier to finish our careers like friends after everything we share on the pitch like rivals."
