JAKARTA The 2021 NBA Champion basketball team Milwaukee Bucks has officially signed Indonesian naturalized basketball player Marques Bolden to welcome the new season.

Bolden signed the Exhibit 10 contract with the Bucks on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 United States time. The 24-year-old athlete also became Indonesia's first basketball player in the NBA.

Bolden spent last season with Salt Lake City Stars from NBA G-League. While playing there he scored an average of 12.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game.

Prior to that he played campus basketball with Duke Star. During his last season he averaged 5.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.7 blocs per contest in 35 games for his club.

Bolden has played in seven NBA games (with the Cleveland Cavaliers) during the 2020 and 2021 regular seasons with a playing time of 4.6 minutes per game.

After that, Bolden was naturalized to be an Indonesian player and appeared at the Hanoi SEA Games this year. He immediately succeeded in helping Merah Putih win a gold medal for the first time in the history of the Southeast Asian area.
