JAKARTA - Floyd Mayweather continues to prepare for the exhibition match against the star of Japan's MMA, Mikuru Asakura. The second fight will take place on September 25.

In a video circulating, Mayweather Jr is conducting training at a gym. The video was shared by his Spain partner, Denis Douglin.

Douglin then posted it on Instagram. "I really watched The Greatness and learned a lot.. He really didn't stop!" he wrote.

Despite living a luxurious life in retirement and away from professional boxing, Mayweather has at least kept his body in shape.

Mayweather officially retired in August 2017 after defeating former UFC champion Conor McGregor in a ten-round fight in Las Vegas.

He then returned to boxing in several exhibition matches. The 29-year-old Asakura, became his latest opponent.

Reportedly he was also in talks regarding the possibility of facing YouTuber Deji, the younger brother of KSI, on November 13 in Dubai.

Deji suffered three defeats in the ring but secured his first win in August by beating Fousey.
