Aragon MotoGP Result: Augusto Fernadez Third Position Finis, But Still Leading The Moto2 Drivers Standings

JAKARTA Augusto Fernandez is still determined to lead the Moto2 racing standings, although he is only able to finish third in the Aragon MotoGP racing series at the Motorland Circuit, Aragon City in Spain on Sunday 18 September 2022.

Taking the lead, Fernadez, who defended the Red Bull KTM Ajo team, failed to stay ahead. He lost to compete against two of his compatriots, Pedro Ajista and Aron Canet.

Acosta, who also defended the Red Bull team KTM Ajo, finally entered the finish as champion. In second place who is entitled to the podium runner-up is Canet, from the Flexibox HP40 team.

As third in MotoGP Aragon, Fernadez won 16 points. This additional point is still enough to maintain his position at the top of the Moto2 rider standings with a total value of 214.

The 2022 racing season is the end of Augusto Fernandez's work at KTM Ajo's Red Bull. In MotoGP for the 2023 racing season, he continued to race in the Moto2 class but will move to defend the Aspar Gasgas team.
