Jake Paul Sesumbar Will Run Anderson Silva 'with Respect'

JAKARTA - Jake Paul will face UFC legend Anderson Silva in the boxing ring for the first time. He vowed to paralyze his opponent 'with respect'.

Jake expressed his joy to battle with who he describes as "true professionals, who will pass weight and appear in the ring."

Of course, those words are Jake's satire for Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr, who withdrew from their fights some time ago.

Jake was scheduled to fight Tommy early last month. However, the Briton had problems and was unable to enter the United States, which made plans change.

Hasim Rahman Jr then appeared as a replacement for Tommy. But when everything was ready, he couldn't reach the agreed weight for the fight.

"I don't have to worry about doing the entire training camp for no reason. It's fun. He's not afraid, he's not like Tommy and Hasim. He's going to really get into the ring," Jake shot.

Despite those harsh words, Jake doesn't seem to respect Silva, who he will fight on Saturday, October 29.

"I respect this man. I will still knock him down but respectfully knock him down."

Jake currently has a 5-0 record. And the duel against Silva without a doubt will be his toughest test.

It remains to be seen whether he can continue his unbeaten record or not.
