Melati Daeva Will 'Gonta-Change' The Semairi Couple Waiting For Praveen Jordan Pulih

JAKARTA - Melati Daeva Oktavianti is currently in "jomlo" status. Her partner in the mixed doubles sector, Praveen Jordan is currently recovering from injury.

This condition makes PB Djarum, the club that houses Melati, take steps to find a new partner for Melati. Of course it is only temporary.

There are already two names that will become Melati's new partner in two different tournaments. They are Muhammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahami and Hafiz Faizal.

"We have to try pairing Melati with other players," said PB Djarum chairman Yoppy Rosimin, as quoted by Antara.

Melati will partner with Reza at the Vietnam Open 2022, 27 September - 2 October. Then he will partner with Hafiz for the 2022 International Challenge tournament in Yogyakarta.

"We have to have plans A, B and C. There must be pillars that can appear later. We have to try it," continued Yoppy.

Melati herself has been absent from playing since the second round of the Indonesia Open 2022, last June. At that time, the former PBSI mixed doubles withdrew after Praveen suffered a waist injury.

This injury also forced Praveen to take up his operating table and undergo a long recovery process.

"Praveen has been able to train incandescent, but has not fully recovered. Hopefully early next year we can return to play," concluded Yoppy.
