Verstappen's Mill At The Dutch GP Could Not Be Separated From Its Applied Strategy And Obstacles

JAKARTA - Formula 1 driver from the Red Bull Racing team Max Verstappen successfully won the Dutch GP at the Zandvoort Circuit, last Sunday and the results made him move in the standings of the land jet racing event.

Based on data compiled by Antara from the official website of the organizers in Jakarta, Monday, Max Verstappen has now won 10 wins from 15 Formula 1 races that have already taken place or left eight series of races for this season.

In the standings, the Dutchman is solid at the top of the standings with 310 points. For second place, there is Ferrari's Charles Leclerc who has the same points as Max's teammate, Sergio Perez with 201 points.

Max Verstappen's brilliant results at the Dutch GP could not be separated from the strategy he applied and was persistent in undergoing the 72 round race. The defending champion of Formula 1 also admitted that the race to defend the world title at the Dutch GP was quite tight.

"We manage everything pretty well and the strategy is right in the pits, the team's performance here and at the factory is extraordinary," said Max Verstappen in his official statement.

"It's always special to be able to win the Grand Prix at home, but this year I have to work harder to achieve it. It's amazing to be able to win again in front of the audience, we have great support here and I'm proud to be a Dutchman," Verstappen added.

Max Verstappen's good results were also appreciated by his team-mate, Sergio Perez. According to him, the race was tight even though he could not match Max on the podium. This Mexican racer had to settle for finishing in fifth position.

"I was constrained by brandishing the tires at the beginning and second changing tires, it was difficult to get a balance as desired. Not to mention the hectic race due to the pit incident, but I was lucky that the front wing was not damaged when it ran over the wheel gun," said Perez.

Meanwhile, Market Development Director of PT ExxonMobil Lubricants Indonesia (PT EMLI) Sri Adinegara praised Max Verstappen's performance at the Dutch GP, for being able to return to the podium in front of his fans.

"Of course Max Verstappen's victory this time was not easy with so much pressure from fans who filled the stands. The implementation of the right strategy from the team also had an influence, as well as the performance of the RB18 car at the Zandvoort Circuit which was very competitive," he said.

After completing the race at the Dutch GP, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will again demonstrate at the Italian GP at the Nazionale Monza Autodromo Circuit, September 11. Victory is clearly eagerly awaited to defend the world title.
