JAKARTA - Despite being 47 years old, Anderson Silva decided to face Jake Paul as his next opponent on his new boxing adventure.

As a former middleweight UFC champion, Silva established himself as the best athlete of all time, but he still wants to keep fighting well after retiring.

So far, Silva has had four boxing fights with a record 3-1. Meanwhile Jake, has a 5-0 record with four KOs. Showtime Boxing is rumored to have sealed a deal that will allow both fighters to clash on 29 October.

This is the perfect opponent Jake has been looking for since last year. Some potential opponents of The Problem previously there were those who resigned or did not even meet the requirements. These include Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr.

Since beating Tyron Woodley, Jake has never acted again in the ring. He won his rematch against former UFC professional player by knockout in the sixth round which made the whole world realize that Jake is very capable of colliding with the right combat sports professionals.

As for Silva, he has not fought since September 2021 when he defeated fellow MMA legend Tito Ortiz in his last fight through a knockout victory in the first round.

Several reports say, one of which is Marca, this fight is very likely. DAZN Boxing has even confirmed it.
