JAKARTA - The 2022 Indonesia International Marathon champion, Jack Ahearn, protested to the event organizers. This is related to the traffic jam in the handover of the prizes that he should have received.

Jack's annoyance was revealed because he had waited a long time regarding the receipt of the prize. As a champion, Jack was actually entitled to a prize of Rp. 150 million.

However, two months later, Jack has not yet received his rights. This is known from the upload on his social media.

"I won this race, but @indonesiainternationalm Marathon has not given the prize to me and other international winners," tweeted Jack Ahearn on Twitter.

Tah is only about gifts that have not been received until now, Jack is also upset because the organizers are not responsible because they are difficult to contact.

"They (the organizers) are irresponsible for this and try not to pay the winners fairly," he wrote.

"They blocked the phone number and have not responded for two months until now," continued Jack.

The Indonesia International Marathon is the agenda of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) which will take place in Bali on June 26, 2022.

This year's event will be the first time it has been held again after two years of absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jack Ahearn came out as the first winner through the 42-kilometer full marathon category with a time of 03.30.48. On the second podium was Mike Akerz Akerman with a time of 03.56.44 and then tiga podiumr with a time of 04.31.09.
