JAKARTA - Indonesia's senior men's doubles, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2022 BWF World Championships after defeating representatives of Germany, Mark Lamsfuss/Marvin Seidel. The victory achieved by The Daddies also adds to the record for meeting these two rivals.

In the match that took place at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Japan on Thursday morning, Ahsan/Hendra won two straight games. The Daddies had to go through 40 fierce minutes to seal a 21-18, 23-21 score over the 12th seed.
