Manchester City Beat Bournemouth 4 Goals Without Reply

JAKARTA - Manchester City beat Bournemouth four goals without reply in matchday 2 of the English Premier League at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester, England.

Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin de Bruyne and Phil Foden each scored one goal for City. While the last goal was created by Jefferson Lerma's own suicide.

This victory makes City top of the English Premier League standings with a record of two wins from two matches. Meanwhile Bournemouth sit in ninth place with one win and one defeat.

Manchester City immediately scored in the 19th minute. Ilkay Gundogan played a one-two touch with Haaland near the box, before flicking the ball into the Bournemouth goal. Man City lead 1-0.

Two minutes later, Bournemouth again threatened by kicking outside the penalty box Ben Pearson. Unfortunately the experiment has not been able to beat The Citizenz goalkeeper Ederson.

City again had a chance in the 27th minute. Joao Cancelo's curling kick from outside the penalty box is still sideways from the Bournemouth goal.

In the 30th minute, the home team doubled their lead. Kevin De Bruyne stabbed in from the right and scored with a low shot in the box to make it 2-0.

Bournemouth conceded again eight minutes later, this time it was Phil Foden's turn to hit the ball from close range after receiving a pass from De Bruyne.

Haaland almost added to City's advantage a few minutes before the end of the first half. His shot near the goal was parried by Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers.

There were no additional goals until halftime.

After the break, City continued to play aggressively and tried to increase their advantage.

In the 52nd minute, De Bruyne came close to scoring a second after his shot just went sideways from the Bournemouth goal.

City continue to bombard the visitors. Another opportunity was obtained seven minutes later through Gundogan's kick from outside the penalty box, unfortunately it still did not meet the target.

Launching ANTARA, Saturday, August 13, the home team finally managed to score the fourth goal in the 78th minute. Joao Cancelo's pull bait in the penalty box hit Jefferson Lerma's leg and slid into the Bournemouth goal.

The score 4-0 for Manchester City lasted until the referee blew the long whistle signaling the end of the match.
