U-19 National Team Has Its First Training At The Madya Stadium

JAKARTA - The U-19 national team underwent its inaugural training at the Madya Stadium, Monday, in preparation for the two major events of the U-19 Asian Cup and the U-20 World Cup next year.

"In this TC, we are more focused on seeing the mentalities of the players in undergoing all the training programs provided by the coaching team. Because all training programs from coach Shin Tae-yong are how players do the training well," said Nova Aryanto, assistant coach of the national team. U-19 quoted by Antara from the official website of PSSI, Monday, November 16.

The former Persib defender said that at the beginning the intensity of training was not too heavy. They were given instructions for stepping up and down stairs and skipping to maintain endurance after a few days of virtual training.

Coach Shin Tae-yong is still closely monitoring this exercise because he is still in South Korea and is scheduled to come to Indonesia at the end of November.

If nothing gets in the way, the U-19 national team will return to undergo TC abroad. Three countries are targeted to be the next ports, namely the Netherlands, South Korea and Japan.

According to him, all players' conditions are in good shape and are adapting again on the field. They will continue to be encouraged to match their physique during the training camp in Croatia.

"We hope they can train more optimally to pursue physical conditions with players who have long joined the team," he said.

Meanwhile, a debutant in the U-19 national team TC, Kakang Rudianto said that he was very proud and enthusiastic about joining the TC this time. He was also determined to show his best performance and penetrate the U-19 national team squad.

"This inaugural training is quite tough and I must be able to compensate for the intensity of this training with hard work. For adaptation I continue to communicate with old or newly called players," he said.
