Barcelona Agree With Leeds For Raphinha's Transfer, Just Wait For Medical Test Results

JAKARTA - Barcelona have reached an agreement for the transfer of Raphinha from Leeds United. The Blaugrana are just waiting for the results of the player's medical tests.

The Spanish giants announced the transfer of the Brazil international on their official website on Wednesday, July 13 evening WIB.

"Barcelona and Leeds United have in principle reached an agreement for the transfer of Raphael Dias Belloli, Raphinha, pending the player's passing a medical," Barcelona wrote.

Raphinha is expected to sign a long-term contract. According to reports, the Catalan club are preparing contracts for their new players until 2027.

So far Barcelona has not revealed how much the transfer value of the player. However, El Barca is estimated to spend a nominal amount of 55 million euros (Rp 829 billion) to get Raphinha's signature.

The joining of Raphinha with Barcelona makes Chelsea have to bite the finger. The Blues are also reportedly interested in signing the former Sporting Lisbon player.

Raphinha is Barcelona's third signing of the summer. Before the Blaugrana had got Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie who came as free transfers.

After this Barcelona will try to bring in Robert Lewandowski. The Poland international has been one of their main transfer targets this summer.
