JAKARTA - The pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto also followed several compatriots to the semifinals of the Malaysia Masters 2022. The world number five men's doubles defeated the representative host Junaidi Arif/Muhammad Haikal 21-10 and 21-16 on Friday, July 8 evening WIB.

Fajar/Rian's victory made Indonesia have two men's doubles representatives in the top four of this Super 500 BWF level event.
