Lazio's President And Sporting Director Viral Confused After The Jersey Launch

JAKARTA - The hot atmosphere is overshadowing the management of the Italian Serie A club, Lazio. Rumors circulated that their two high-ranking officials had a feud.

This news became a hot topic of public discussion after a photo of Lazio President Claudio Lotito was circulated, who was involved in a debate with Sporting Director Igli Tare. The debate took place after the Lazio jersey was unveiled at the Piazza del Popolo, Tuesday 5 July evening local time.

The photo later went viral on social media. However, it is not known exactly what caused the debate and how it ended.

However, the club nicknamed I Biancocelesti immediately issued a rebuttal. They stated that there was no debate between the club president and the director.

"As for the news that was reported by some media regarding the alleged quarrel between President Lotito and Tare, which allegedly took place last night after the event hosted by Lazio at Piazza del Popolo, the club clarifies that they are unfounded," a club statement read.

Lately, Tare's relationship with Lotito has begun to drift apart. In fact, there are rumors that Tare will be kicked out of the club.

This issue became stronger after the arrival of Angelo Fabiani. This figure is said to be Tare's replacement as Lazio's sporting director.

However, the club statement refutes these rumors.

"Director of sport Tare has the trust of the President and the club and will continue his work with the first team as usual. At the same time, Angelo Fabiani's arrival will aim to manage the women's team, the women's primavera team and the men's primavera team," the club statement continued.
