JAKARTA - Manchester United have finally completed their first transfer in the era of the new manager, Erik ten Hag. The club nicknamed the Red Devils officially introduced Tyrell Malacia as their new player.

Tyrell Malacia was bought from Feyenoord for 15 million euros, plus two million euros in additional funds if certain conditions are met. The Dutch national team player is under contract until June 2026.

"This is the biggest club in the world, you can see that because of the fans, the great stadium, the awards and the new manager," Malacia said in his first interview as a United player.

"He wants to build a winning team again and I want to be part of that team," he continued on the club's official website.

Malacia admitted that she had talked a lot with Ten Hag. He felt many positive things after communicating with his new manager.

"I spoke to him on the phone when everything was agreed, and it was a positive vibe and feeling," Malacia said.

"He wants to improve everything to win trophies so I'm looking forward to that."

Malacia's adaptation process is believed not to be difficult in England. The reason is, there are many figures from the Netherlands in the MU squad. Not only Ten Hag the manager, but also players like Donny van de Beek and Tahith Chong.

"It makes it easier, I've also met some players and they gave me a comfortable feeling and accepted me here. So I already feel at home," said the new Manchester United player.
