JAKARTA - Frenkie de Jong's fate is really sad. The Dutch player is now confused because Manchester United continues to chase him. In fact, he has repeatedly stated that he does not want to move from Barcelona.

De Jong is still at home and comfortable with the Spanish La Liga giants. There's no reason to leave. In fact, De Jong even confessed to former Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman regarding this.

He sent a private message to Koeman stating his desire to stay at Barcelona.

However, the latest news says, De Jong has started communicating with MU. Although half-hearted, the player seems ready to move if Barcelona have found an agreement with the Red Devils.

Barcelona actually does not want to lose the former Ajax Amsterdam player. However, the unstable financial condition made the club management have to be ready to let him go.

De Jong's transfer process is still quite complicated actually. MU has submitted an offer, the latest of which is worth 65 million euros (equivalent to Rp. 1.02 trillion). However, Barcelona refused.

Barcelona want 85 million euros (about Rp1.3 trillion) for the 25-year-old player. Transfer expert from Italy, Fabrizio Romano said, MU is likely to agree with that price.

However, the latest news says, Barcelona finally gave up. They are willing to accept 65 million euros from the English club for the player.

Now, Manchester United just has to convince the player to want to move to Old Trafford wholeheartedly, not half-heartedly.
