Even Though He Is A Porsche Brand Ambassador For IDR 2.3 Billion, Raducanu Actually Enjoys Going To The Gym With Dacia Sandero

JAKARTA - The female tennis player who won the US Open 2021, Emma Raducanu looks comfortable driving a Dacia Sandero Renault car when she goes to the gym. In fact, Raducanu is a brand ambassador for luxury cars, Porsche.

Quoted from The Sun, Thursday, Raducanu was appointed as a Porsche icon last March. At the beginning of this collaboration, Raducanu even looked elegant when posing in a white Porsche 911 GTE series for 150 thousand euros or equivalent to Rp. 2.3 billion.

Although he was asked to become a Porsche icon, in his daily life this humble 19-year-old player actually feels comfortable driving a subcompact car. One of the moments that was caught on camera was when he rushed to the gym.

However, Raducanu revealed that his car of choice still fell on the luxury Porsche.

“My favorite car is the 911 for sure. From generation to generation, it is very unique and beautiful in every way,” said Raducanu.

"I feel like it's one of the most iconic cars out there," he added.

Raducanu added, there is also a big tournament in tennis organized by Porsche where the winners will get the car.

"When I was young, I remember the Porsche Grand Prix was always a big tournament and a very different and unique tournament because the winner would get a Porsche.

"It's always been very special," he said.

Raducanu has been driving to the All England Club as he also prepares to feature at Wimbledon next week. The world number 11 is a race against time to play her second Championship, having suffered an injury.

Previously, the injury made Raducanu end his action at the Nottingham Open against Viktorija Golubic two weeks ago. Raducanu then pulled out of the Rothesay Classic in Birmingham, before opting not to take a wildcard in this week's WTA in Eastbourne.
