Officially Joins Bayern Munich Until 2025, Sadio Mane: I Like Challenges

JAKARTA - Senegal's Sadio Mane has officially moved to Bayern Munich from Liverpool. He is under contract until 2025.

Sadio Mane was brought in on a free transfer after not extending his contract at Liverpool. The player revealed the reason why he finally moved to the Bundesliga club.

"My whole life is a challenge. I like challenges," said Sadio Mane when introduced as a new Bayern player.

"We have a strong team, we want to win everything. All the players here are made to win trophies."

Sadio said he always worked hard to be able to play for a big team. After Liverpool, he is now in FC Hollywood uniform.

"When you play for Bayern you know what you can expect."

Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn said he was happy with the transfer of Sadio Mane. He said the presence of the 30-year-old player would have a positive impact on the team.

"His style of play and mentality will raise the level of the team," Kahn said of Sadio Mane.
