JAKARTA - The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) and PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) have decided to continue the 2020 League 1 competition in November 2020. However, the club feels there is no certainty about that.

This is because PSSI and PT LIB have not yet obtained a crowd permit from the police. Without this permission, the League 1 and League 2 competitions could not be held.

The absence of certainty about the continuation of the League 1 competition has made a number of League 1 clubs take steps to dismiss team activities. After previously Persebaya Surabaya and Madura United, this time it was Persita Tangerang's turn.

This decision was taken by club management and coach Widodo C. Putro. However, it is not certain when the team will be reunited.

According to Widodo, the team will temporarily close team activities after the management and the coaching team coordinate. "While the training will be closed until there will be a recall," said Widodo.

Widodo then delivered a message to the players to maintain physical fitness. The hope is, when gathered later, the players will be in good shape.

"If they understand, they will definitely do it," said the former Bali United coach.

Apart from Persita, Persija Jakarta's management also applies the same thing. The players were asked to undergo independent training because the league schedule was not clear.

However, unlike Persita, Persija only dismissed its players for four days. During independent training, the Kemayoran Tiger players are still monitored by the coaching team.
