Persija Jakarta Vs Rans Nusantara FC: Eating Konate Directly Performing Against Ex?

SAMARINDA - Rans Nusantara FC will face Persija Jakarta in Group B of the 2022 Presidential Cup, Wednesday, 22 June. In this match, Raffi Ahmad's club was able to lose Makan Konate.

The player who was brought in from Persija Jakarta has already started training with the Rans squad. However, the coach of The Phoenix, Rahmad Darmawan, could not confirm whether Konate would go down against the former club.

"For the match against Persija, we will first see the urgency of lowering Makan Konate in the starting eleven," said the former coach of Sriwijaya FC.

The man who is familiarly called RD said that he would do a rotation in order to find the best composition. In fact, his team's position in the 2022 President's Cup is not yet secure.

"I will continue to rotate players because I hope to see the optimal ability of all players in their respective positions, and this is important for our team's preparation for League 1," he said.

Meanwhile, Persija Jakarta will continue to rely on young players when facing Rans Nusantara FC later. The assistant coach of the Kemayoran Tigers, Ferdiansyah said the senior players were still undergoing training in Sawangan, Depok, and would only arrive in Samarinda on June 24.

"So we can only optimize the senior team at least in the third match," he explained.

"We have carried out an evaluation and we have corrected some of the team's shortcomings in the training session, we hope the players can apply them on the field to face Rans Nusantara later," continued the Persija Jakarta assistant coach.
