JAKARTA - Indonesian women's tennis players, namely Beatrice Gumulya, Jessy Rompies and Aldila Sutjiadi, have started their world tour to undergo their professional matches after several of them played at the Vietnam SEA Games.

Beatrice Gumulya's nickname is currently struggling in the WTA 125K Valencia event in Spain, 6-12 June.

As for Aldila Sutjiadi, after the SEA Games, Vietnam will directly compete in the 2022 French Open Grand Slam on 16 May-5 June with Japanese tennis player Miyu Kato.

Unfortunately, Aldila and Miyo Kato's steps stopped in the second half. They lost to Zhang Shuai (China)/Caty McNally (United States) with a score of 3-6, 4-6.

After that, Aldila continued the tour by participating in the WTA 250 Nottingham Open 2022 at Nottingham Tennis Centre, England, 6-12 June.

In this event, she is partnered with Poland's Katarzyna Kawa and will start today's match against co-hosts Olivia Nicholls/Alicia Barnett.

The three Indonesian tennis players together with Novela Rezha Millenia Putri and Fitria Sabatini contributed bronze in the women's team event at the 2021 SEA Games.

In addition, Beatrice Gumulya and Jessy Rompies also won bronze medals in the women's doubles sector. Meanwhile, Aldila successfully contributed a gold medal in the mixed doubles event with Christopher Rungkat in Vietnam.
