Indonesia Masters 2022: Feel The Roar Of The Istora Audience Again, Hendra Setiawan Was Nervous But Excited

JAKARTA - Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan qualified for the second round of the 2022 Indonesia Masters after winning two straight games over Danish representatives Jeppe Bay/Lasse Molhede, with a score of 21-12 and 21-19 at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday, June 7.

The Daddies admitted that they were happy to be able to feel the tireless support from the audience again when performing on the field. The roar of the fans' cheers at Istora Senayan made them even more enthusiastic in competing.

This also cures Hendra/Ahsan's longing after the last two years of this tournament the absence of spectator support due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"What is certain is that we are happy because we are back to normal, it makes us even more enthusiastic," said Hendra Setiawan after the match.

"Because there have been no spectators for two years, this is good for Indonesian players because it can make them more enthusiastic," he continued.

Hendra added that the presence of the audience who filled the entire stands had made him feel nervous. But then this situation is actually considered as a very good moment.

“Nervous must be there, especially since this is the first match and there are a lot of spectators, who are definitely nervous. But over time it doesn't," said Hendra ending.
