League 1 2022/2023 Transfer News: Raffi Ahmad's Club Brings Former Persija Jakarta Players, President Jokowi's Men's Team Introduces New Foreign Players

JAKARTA - Promotional clubs, Rans Nusantara FC and Persis Solo, continue to improve ahead of Liga 1 Indonesia 2022/2023. Both teams officially signed new players recently.

Rans Nusantara FC officially introduces Defri Riski as their new player. The former Persija Jakarta player will strengthen The Phoenix's midfield in the new season.

Defri Riski is known as a player who has a lot of experience in the national football scene. Apart from defending Persija Jakarta, he has also defended Persiraja Banda Aceh, Persikabo, Mitra Kukar, Semen Padang and PSPS Pekanbaru.

"Hopefully, with Defri's myriad of experiences, this can give positive things to The Phoenix this season," the club said in a statement on its official social media account.

Meanwhile Persis Solo strengthened their back line by bringing in new foreign players. President Jokowi's men's club, Kaesang Pangarep, has officially recruited Aaron Evans.

The former PSS Sleman player is expected to strengthen the Laskar Sambernyawa defense with his quality and composure.

"The strong wall is here, another foreign player joins the team. Aaron Evans is ready for Sambernyawa!" wrote Persis Solo's Instagram account.

Previously, Persis Solo had also introduced their new foreign player, Gerard Artigas. This Spanish player will be the focus of the team on the front lines.

PSS Sleman also introduced new players. The club nicknamed Laskar Sembada has officially recruited former Arema FC player, Purwaka Yudi.

"It's good to be back with PSS this season. The reason for defending PSS is because in League 1, which has been for the last three seasons I have joined coach Seto," he said.
