JAKARTA - The Indonesian U-16 National Team will depart for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday, October 25. The Young Garuda squad will conduct two international trial matches in the Middle Eastern country.

The U-16 Indonesian national team will face the UAE on 21 and 24 October 2020 at the UAE FA Stadium. General Chairman of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), Mochamad Iriawan, certainly hopes for the best.

However, he also reminded the players to maintain their mentality and attitude on the field. "The Garuda symbol on your chest means much more than your name on your back," said Mochamad Iriawan.

Iriawan also asked the players to stay focused. He also appealed to the U-16 Indonesian national team not to waste this opportunity to try out against the UAE.

Meanwhile, the coach of the U-16 Indonesia national team, Bima Sakti, admitted that this trial will add to the experience of the players. According to him, this will be an opportunity that must be used as best as possible by the players.

"Moreover, the U16 UEA national team is also one of the contestants for the U-16 Asian Cup finals," said Bima Sakti.

The former assistant to the Indonesian senior national team said this team carried the name of the country. So he warned the players to be disciplined.
