Apriyani Rahayu Confirmed Paired With Siti Fadia At Indonesia Master Open, Greysia Poli Strengthens Retirement Signals

JAKARTA - Apriyani Rahayu revealed that she is no longer partnering with Greysia Polii in the Indonesia Masters and Indonesia Open tournaments which will be held in June at Istora Senayan, Jakarta. The highest was by winning the women's doubles gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. "In the Indonesia Masters and Open, it is confirmed that we will no longer perform together, I am partnered with Fadia. It is no longer possible to replace it," said Apriyani, quoted by Antara, Thursday, May 26. On his Instagram account, Greysia uploaded a photo of her togetherness with Apriyani while appearing at the Tokyo Olympics last year. Along with his upload, Greysia also wrote a quote that implicitly implies her desire to fulfill her role as a world badminton athlete.

Greysia also touched on her mother and husband who felt they had waited long enough so that she could share time and togetherness with her family at home. In response to this development, Apriyani only said that after this she would indeed remain in a partner with Fadia and respect Greysia's decision to retire." Sis Greys also has other plans outside the tournament, so Fadia and I will continue to play (in pairs)," said Apriyani.
