Make Sure Shayne Pattynama Arrives In Jakarta Next Week To Complete Naturalization, PSSI: Hopefully Complete Documents Can Be Fulfilled

JAKARTA — Shayne Pattynama is confirmed to arrive in Jakarta next week. He came for several agendas related to his naturalization process into the Indonesian national team.

As is known, the 23-year-old is one of three players currently undergoing the naturalization process with Sandy Walsh and Jordi Amat.

"Shayne has confirmed that he will come to fulfill a series of agendas related to the naturalization process," said PSSI Secretary General Yunus Nusi on the federation's website.

While in Jakarta, Shayne is scheduled to visit the Dutch Embassy, a closed interview with the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), and a medical test. In addition, he also has several agendas with PSSI and Kemenpora.

"The government through the Kemenpora and Kemenkumham are very helpful in all this process. Hopefully all the required documents can be fulfilled," said Yunus.

Previously, Jordi Amat and Sandy Walsh had undertaken a series of activities related to the same naturalization process last week.

Both of them have completed the agenda cooperatively and fulfilled all important documents. The documents have also been officially submitted to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights with complete status.

The process of naturalization of the three players of Indonesian descent was later accelerated by PSSI because they are expected to immediately strengthen the Indonesian national team.

If the naturalization process is completed in the near future, it is possible that these three players will be able to wear the Indonesian national team uniform in the 2023 Asian Cup qualifiers in early June.
