Kylian Mbappe Rejects Real Madrid's Offer And Is Ready To Earn IDR 7.4 Billion Per Month At PSG

JAKARTA - Kylian Mbappe has reportedly decided against moving to Real Madrid. The decision he made in order to sign a mega contract with his current club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

The future of the France international has continued to be a rumor for the past 12 months. Madrid are seen as favorites to sign him on a free transfer at the end of the nearest June.

Mbappe is expected to announce a decision regarding his future this weekend. Many hope he will confirm the club as the next destination to end the speculation.

Madrid are thought to be very confident the 23-year-old will join the club this summer. However, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio gave the opposite news.

It is reported that the forward is now close to signing a new contract in Paris. PSG have even prepared a salary of £4 million per month (Rp73 billion).

In addition, Les Parisien also prepared a new bonus deal worth 100 million Pounds Sterling or Rp. 1.8 trillion to keep their star player.

Mbappe is back in excellent form for Mauricio Pochettino's side during the 2021/2022 season. He scored 36 goals and provided 26 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.

The Frenchman has scored 168 goals and registered 87 assists in 216 games for PSG since moving from Monaco. He was previously expected to play his last match against Metz this weekend.

However, if he accepts the offer of a new contract with PSG then Real Madrid will need to look elsewhere to improve their attacking line for next season.

Meanwhile, Pochettino said that so far he is not aware of the decisions that have been made by the player and the club. He even insisted it was impossible to intervene in the transfer rumors of the star.

"I don't know Mbappe's decision. This is Kylian's personal matter with the club. There are a lot of reports and rumors. While respecting Kylian, whose contract expires this season, it's up to the club and the player to sort things out," Pochettino said, as reported by Sportsmole.
