Persija Jakarta Is Confident In Winning Against The Junior Team Against The 2020 League 1 Competition

JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta continues to mature in the midst of the uncertainty of the 2020 League 1 competition. Not only doing training, the club nicknamed the Kemayoran Tigers is also holding trial matches.

On Friday, 16 October morning, Persija played a trial match against Persija EPA. This match was held at the PSAU Field, Halim, Jakarta. In this match, the Kemayoran Tigers won 7-2.

This match was held 4x30 minutes. This is done because the coaching team wants to see the performance of all players, both core and reserve.

Persija's goals in this match were scored by Rohit Chand, Marc Klok, Osvaldo Haay, and Taufik Hidayat. Rohit, Osvaldo and Taufik each scored two goals.

Persija goalkeeping coach, Ahmad Fauzi said the players had shown extraordinary performance. Even though they only fought the junior team, the Kemayoran Tigers were still serious and full of persistence.

In this match, Fauzi also gave all Persija goalkeepers the opportunity to appear. "The players we have are ready to appear in the competition," he said.

Meanwhile, Osvaldo Haay was very happy to score two goals in this match. The former Persipura Jayapura player did not deny that this result could increase the players' confidence ahead of the competition.

"The cooperation between the lines has been established and is ready for the competition. I can also score goals in this trial match using teamwork," he said.

As is known, the 2020 League 1 competition will be continued on November 1, 2020. However, until now PSSI and PT Liga Indonesia Baru have not received crowd permission from the police.
