Crowd Permit Not Yet In The Hands Of PSSI, Persebaya Surabaya Coach: There Must Be A Lobby

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) and PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) decided to continue holding the 2020 Liga 1 competition. There are three options prepared so that the national football competition can continue amid the pandemic.

As is known, PSSI and PT LIB held an extraordinary meeting with a club in Yogyakarta. As a result, all parties agreed to continue the 2020 League 1 competition on November 1, 2020.

However, it was reported that PSSI and PT Liga Indonesia had not yet obtained permission from the police. Regarding the absence of permission from the police, Perebaya Coach Aji Santoso is not too worried.

According to him, PSSI will approach the National Police to get permission from the crowd. "Of course later the federation will lobby for permits," he said.

According to the former coach of the Indonesian national team, the most important thing is how the federation makes decisions that the competition will continue. "Matters regarding licensing, of course, they will try to make the competition happen," he said.

Persebaya itself immediately stepped on the gas after the certainty of the fate of the 2020 League 1 competition was obtained. Coach Aji Santoso immediately increased the intensity of his training after hearing that the competition would resume in November 2020.

After the extraordinary meeting, Persebaya management then coordinated with the coaching team led by Aji Santoso. Persebaya immediately made adjustments after receiving confirmation about the fate of the competition.

"I have communicated with the management to keep training, and the training is now at a higher intensity according to the period," said Aji Santoso.
