JAKARTA - The Indonesian contingent increased the number of gold medals at the SEA Games to 23. The gold was presented by the gymnastics athlete, Rifda Irfanaluthfi.

He became the best when he dropped in the floor gymnastics number. Interestingly, Rifda shared the gold with the Thai athlete, Sasiwimon Muengphuan, because they were evenly matched.

Meanwhile, the silver medal was handed over to Vietnam's deputy host, Pham Nhu Phuong.

This is Rifda's second gold medal at the 2021 SEA Games. Previously, she was also the best in women's individual all around.

Meanwhile, Indonesian hurdler, Emilia Nova, presented a silver medal. He had to settle for second place in the final 100 meters with a time of 13,690 seconds.

In the pencak silat branch, Ronaldo Neno failed to present a gold medal. Down in class H (80-85 kg), Neno lost to the host representative Vietnam.

With this result, Indonesian pencak silat was only able to win one gold medal from the four targets set. The gold medal was won by the women's art pair, Riska Hermawan and Ririn Rinasih.
