Harry Kane Threatened To Miss England's Match Against Belgium

JAKARTA - England captain Harry Kane is in danger of being absent in the Nations League match against Belgium tonight. Kane reportedly suffered a muscle injury while undergoing a training session the day before,

According to a Sky Sports report, Sunday 11 October, if Kane is forced to miss the match which was held at Wembley, then Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is expected to spearhead the home team.

Calvert-Lewin continued his impressive start to the season by scoring his first goal against Wales in a friendly on 8 October.

The 23-year-old has impressed for Everton this season, scoring nine goals, including two domestic league hat-tricks against West Brom and West Ham.

Meanwhile, it is feared that Harry Kane will be sidelined again nine months after injuring his thigh (hamstring) while playing for Tottenham and making his chances of defending England in next year's European Cup in doubt.

Meanwhile, coach Gareth Southgate is expected to play Manchester City defender Kyle Walker, who will make his 50th appearance for England.

Southgate is also likely to play Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford, Eric Dier from Tottenham and two Liverpool players Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson. West Ham's Declan Rice is also expected to start.
