JAKARTA - After being critical, the famous Italian agent, Mino Raiola, finally died. He died at the age of 54 years.

The news of the death of agents Paul Pogba and Erling Haaland was announced by the family through their official Twitter account. They say, Mino Raiola fought until the end.

"In infinite sadness, we share the passing of the most caring and extraordinary football agent ever," read a statement published on Raiola's official Twitter account, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 30.

"Mino fought until the end with the same strength he gave at the negotiating table to defend our players. As always, Mino made us proud and he never realized it."

"Mino touched so many lives through his work and wrote a new chapter in the history of modern football. His presence will always be missed," the statement continued.

Born in Italy, Raiola grew up in the Netherlands before becoming one of the most influential football agents in the world, with many high profile clients including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Erling Haaland and Paul Pogba.

In addition, there are also Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, Italian striker Mario Balotelli and Dutch center back Matthijs de Ligt.

"Mino's mission to make football a better place for players will continue in the same spirit."

The news of the death of Mino Raiola was also uploaded by Fabrizio Romano. He wrote his condolences for the departure of the super agent.
