List Of Players For The Indonesian Women's Basketball National Team For The 2021 SEA Games

JAKARTA - The Indonesian women's basketball national team squad for the 2021 SEA Games for the 3x3 and 5x5 categories has finally been released. For the 3x3 category, the composition is almost the same as the list of players in the ABL International Champions Cup 2022 in Bali, some time ago.

There are four names that will be chosen to represent Indonesia's name in the 3x3 category at the SEA Games later. They are Adelaide Wongsohardjo Callista, Dewa Ayu Made Sriartha Kusuma Dewi, Kimberley Pierre Louis, and Nathania Claresta Orville.

Meanwhile, in the 5x5 category, 12 players were strengthened with three of them also joining the 3x3 national team. They are Adelaide Wongsohardjo Callista, Agustin Retong Elya Gradita, Angelica Jennifer Candra, Clarita Antonio, Dyah Lestari, and Gabriel Sophia.

Then there was Henny Sutjiono, Kadek Dewi Pratita Citta, Kimberley Pierre Louis, Mega Nanda Perdana Putri, Nathania Claresta Orville, and Yuni Anggraeni.

The manager of the women's basketball team, Christopher Tanuwidjaja, fully handed over the selection of players to the coaching team. According to him, the selection process has been in accordance with the needs of the team and the program that has been prepared by the coaching team.

"My hope is that whoever is elected is ready to give all the best for Indonesia. Soul, body and heart only for one goal, namely winning," he said, as quoted by Antara.

At the 2019 SEA Games in the Philippines, the women's 5x5 basketball national team was only able to bring home bronze, while the 3x3 national team failed to present a medal because they recorded only one win out of five matches played in the preliminary round.
