JAKARTA - Foreign player from Croatia, Marko Simic, has announced that he is terminating his contract with Persija Jakarta. This step was taken after the club was judged to have violated the contract for not paying his salary for a year.

Although the club has provided clarification, it is believed that the relationship between the two will not work together again. This means that Marko Simic will become a hot commodity in the 2022/2023 Indonesian League 1 transfer market.
