Sergio Busquets Surprised Barcelona Lost Again At Home

JAKARTA - Barcelona again lost at home when they hosted Rayo Vallecano in the postponed Spanish League 2021/2022 match. This situation makes the team captain, Sergio Busquet feel surprised.

In the match at Camp Nou, Barcelona lost 0-1 to the visitors. Alvaro Garcia scored the only goal for the visitors when the game had only been running for seven minutes.

"It (losing at home) is confusing because it happened again. But our performance was very detrimental. At home, we conceded quickly, we fell behind and things became more difficult," Busquets was quoted as saying by Football Espana.

A bad result in the match against Rayo Vallecano became a red record at Camp Nou for the third time in a row for Los Azulgrana. Prior to this, Xavi Hernandez's team also lost to Cadiz and Eintracht Frankfurt.

"If you are ineffective and lose where you play, the pain will be doubled for us," continued the Spain international.

With the defeat of Rayo Vallecano, Barcelona stuck in second place with the acquisition of 63 points. That number is the same as Sevilla's in third position.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid continues to follow in fourth position with a collection of 61 points.
