JAKARTA - Indonesian racer, Mario Suryo Aji, is confident in looking at the Portugal Moto3 race, this weekend. The reason is, he already has the capital to race at the Alvagre Circuit, Portimao.

Mario Aji admits that he is familiar with the circuit which has a "rollercoaster" character. The Honda Team Asia racer has already tried it in pre-season tests.

Although the results were not so satisfactory, Mario Aji was quite sure that it could be the capital to get good results there.

"We returned to Europe, to a track familiar to me. We did a test at the start of the season, and I remember having a good feeling on the bike, even though it wasn't the best," said Mario Aji in a release received by VOI.

"But I will be in a positive mood for the weekend in Portimao. I want to absorb all the lessons I have received so far, aiming for the points this weekend."

Mario Aji's performance throughout Moto3 2022 has not been so encouraging. His best achievement was finishing 14th in the race at the Mandalika Circuit, Indonesia.

While in the other three races, Mario Aji slumped. The 18-year-old racer has never penetrated the top 15.
