JAKARTA - PSSI General Chair, Mochamad Iriawan, revealed plans to hold Liga 1 2022/2023 on 27 July. This discourse has received a positive response from a number of clubs.

Persebaya Surabaya coach, Aji Santoso said, supports the plan. According to him, PSSI has given sufficient time for the teams participating in Liga 1 to prepare.

"We support and that's pretty good," said Aji Santoso, as reported by Antara.

Support was also conveyed by Arema FC. Arema FC's media officer, Sudarmaji said that his party was always ready whenever the 2022/2023 Liga 1 season was held.

Preparations have been made. Among them is recruiting new players who are believed to be new pillars in the team.
