Take A Peek At Roman Abramovich's Flying Mansion For IDR 5.1 Trillion That Can Accommodate 50 Passengers

JAKARTA - The sanctioned Chelsea owner, billionaire Roman Abramovich, may well be known for his splurge. He has spent a lot of money on football since taking over at Chelsea in 2003.

However, the Russian businessman, who is reported to have a net worth of around $6.4 billion, is also fond of spending his money on luxury properties, expensive yachts and private jets.

Every season, Abramovich has bought big players over the last two decades to make the Blues one of the most successful clubs in the world.

But, arguably, his most stunning purchase was a Boeing 787 which he added to his collection of private jets in December last year.

Abramovich replaced his 767-300ER with a 787-8 at the end of 2021. He became the third person to own a private version of this jet of which the other two are owned by the Mexican government and a charter company.

Forbes Russia claims, the price of Abramovich's new plane costs 350 million US dollars (Rp 5 billion), including 100 million US dollars (Rp 1.4 billion) for luxury cabins and other features.

Abramovich is pampered with a flying house that can accommodate 50 passengers, 10 security personnel, 10 staff and 30 guests on a 224 square meter space.

In fact, no one knows what the inside of this plane looks like. But passengers can sit on comfortable sofas, a kitchen that serves fresh food and several bathrooms, as well as luxurious bedrooms.
