Firm! Boxer Ebanie Bridges 'Shut Up' Dina Thorslund, Calls Himself A Real Blondie Bomber

JAKARTA - IBF bantamweight champion Ebanie Bridges has confirmed that she is the only Blonde Bomber following the news about Dina Thorslund.

In response to a Daily Star Sport article about Thorslund, Bridges said via Twitter that Throslund was dreaming.

"Thorslund has to stop saying there are two 'Blondie Bombers' - there's only one, let's fix it," he tweeted.

Thorslund, who is the current WBO bantamweight champion, claims he can beat Bridges, and their duel could be labeled a Blonde Bombers fight.

"It will be great against Ebanie but the result will not surprise people because I will win because I am better than him," Thorslund told Boxing Scene.

"But it's going to be a great fight and the pack can be a lot of fun with two blondie bombers!" he added.

"I believe I am the strongest fighter in the bantamweight division and with the right preparation, I can win all the belts and unify the division.

"That is my goal and to get to this point in my career has been a long time coming, especially without a promoter for so long, but with Probellum backing me I hope we can make a massive fight for women's boxing."

Bridges captured the IBF bantamweight title in convincing fashion in his hometown of Leeds last month, and the talk has turned to his next opponent.

The Australian wants a rematch against Shannon Courtenay. While a unification battle with Yulihan Luna, Jamie Mitchell, or Thorslund is also in the plan.
