JAKARTA - Bali United U-18 suffered a big defeat against Atletico Madrid U-18 in the inaugural match of the International Youth Championship (IYC). I Made Pasek Wijaya's squad was silenced five goals without reply.

This match will take place at the Jakarta International Stadium on Wednesday, April 14. Atlético Madrid's winning goals were scored by Pablo Fozos, Adrian Gallego, Jacobo Lorenzo, Iker Sierra, and Ninte Carungal, respectively.

I Made said that his team's defeat left many important lessons. The Spanish team won the match because they managed to control the game well and open up space effectively.

Bali United U-18 will then take on the U-20 Indonesia All Star team on Friday at 15.00 WIB. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid will face Barcelona's U-18 squad at 21.30 WIB.
