JAKARTA – A father in England has to spend a lot of money to realize his child's dream to see Cristiano Ronaldo in action directly from the stands. Unfortunately, three attempts have always failed.

This business also costs a lot of money. The father, named Chris Broome, had to be willing to spend 3,250 Pounds Sterling or Rp. 61.2 million to fulfill his son's wishes.

"This costs a lot of money. I promised Zac that I would take him to see Ronaldo play. So I will make it happen, no matter what happens," said Chris, quoted by The Sun.

Chris' first attempt to make his son's wish come true was in 2020. At that time, he took Zac straight to the Allianz Stadium in Turin and spent around £1,550 or Rp29.1 million. Unfortunately, at that time Ronaldo was not included in the squad list because he was rested.

Then, the next attempt was made when Manchester United faced their city rivals Manchester City in March. Chris spent around 1,500 Pounds Sterling or Rp. 28.2, but the player nicknamed CR7 was absent due to injury problems.

Chris and his son were lucky enough in their third attempt to get free tickets to watch United against Leicester last weekend. However, it's a shame for the father-daughter because once again the Portuguese star was not played.

The 37-year-old was left out of the match because he wasn't feeling well. This is the third time Ronaldo has missed playing for the Red Devils since the turn of 2022 after previously missing Aston Villa in the Premier League and FA Cup.
