Argentina Moto3 FP1 Results: Fastest Italian Rider, Mario Aji Far Adrift

JAKARTA - The agenda for the third MotoGP 2022 series in Argentina finally starts rolling, Saturday, March 2 afternoon WIB. The first free practice session (FP1) Moto3 was the opening.

In the race which took place at the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit, the FP1 session belonged to the Italian rider, Dennis Foggia. The Leopard Racing driver recorded the fastest time of 1 minute 49.26 seconds.

Meanwhile, the pride of Indonesia's rider, Mario Aji, recorded a performance that was not too bright. Appearing for the first time in Argentina, the Honda Team Asia racer was even thrown further down the line.

From the results of FP1, Mario Aji is in 23rd place with a time of 1 minute 50.80 seconds. Although it is still far from the top five positions, it is possible that Mario Aji can continue to pursue it in the next session.

Although his timing was not very satisfactory, Mario Aji made history as the first Indonesian racer to appear at the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit.

The reason is that during the Andi Farid Izdihar era racing at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit, he was absent due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
