JAKARTA – Inter Milan's new goalkeeper Andre Onana was involved in a terrible accident. Luckily the Cameroon international goalkeeper survived death.

The 25-year-old player was involved in an accident in his country. Misfortune befell him as he was on his way to Douala to join the Cameroonian national team ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup play-off against Algeria.

According to the Italian Football report, Onana was known to drive a Rover Ranger. His car hit another car while at high speed, but he survived with the driver of the car he hit.

The goalkeeper, who is still in the Ajax Amsterdam uniform, is known to have survived a video that has gone viral on social media. In the video, Onana is seen talking to someone right at the scene.

Although safe, the car driven by Onana suffered very severe damage to the front. The same level of damage was experienced by the car that was hit by the Nerazzurri goalkeeper.

Onana will join Inter on a free transfer in the nearest summer after his contract with Ajax expires. He also completed his medical with the Serie A giants in January.

At this time Inter have not officially confirmed the agreement made with Onana. However, the deal has been finalized and the player is set to move to the San Siro in the summer.
