MotoGP Second Qualification Results: Quartararo Grabs Pole Position Bagnaia Is Knocked Out Of The Top Five

JAKARTA - Yamaha racer, Fabio Quartararo won the pole position after passing the second qualification at the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP at the Mandalika Circuit.

Quartararo carved a time of 1 minute 31.067 seconds to take the lead. Following behind Quartararo were Ducati's Jorge Martin and Pramac Racing's Johann Zarco for the final result.

Quartararo was able to record the fastest time to be in the front row. To get that position, El Diablo must carve a time of 1 minute 31.227 seconds.

Behind the top three were Aleix Espargaro and Fabio Di Giannantonio in the top five. However, that position underwent a change near the end of MotoGP qualifying.

Martin managed to shift Francesco Bagnaia to take second place behind Quartararo. After that Bagnaia continued to be thrown from the fifth fastest position and had to settle for only sixth place

While Quartararo was unable to be shifted by the other racers until the end of the second qualifying.

Brad Binder and Enea Bastianini closed the top five positions. Meanwhile, the other four positions in the top 10 are occupied by Miguel Oliveira, Alex Rins, Jack Miller, and Aleix Espargaro.

Previously, during the first qualifying Honda racer, Marc Marquez twice fell and failed to penetrate to the second qualification.
