Immediately Leaving Barcelona, Nelson Semedo Wrote Farewell Greetings

JAKARTA - Nelson Semedo uploaded his farewell greetings to Barcelona on his social media. The Portuguese player has confirmed he will leave the La Liga giants.

The 26-year-old has recently been linked with a £ 30 million (around Rp.568 billion) transfer to Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers. Wolves are looking for a replacement for right-back after Matt Doherty joined Tottenham.

Semedo has confirmed that he immediately left Camp Nou after writing a farewell message through his Instagram account.

"Thank you very much Barcelona for giving me the opportunity to fulfill my dream of wearing this shirt, playing at the Camp Nou, learning and enjoying the best team in the world," the Portuguese player wrote on his social media.

"Thank you for making me grow as a player and as a person. It was three wonderful years that I will never forget."

"Thank you to my colleagues, staff, fans and everyone who has helped me since I arrived to this day. I wish you all the best."

"I'm very grateful. Visca Barca!"

Semedo joined Barcelona in 2017 from Benfica and has made 124 appearances for the club, scoring two goals and providing 11 assists.

He was a regular starter for the Catalunya team last season in La Liga, 24 out of a total of 32 matches in all competitions.
