JAKARTA - PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) held a virtual Medical Workshop Extraordinary Competition 2020 today, Thursday, September 17. This activity was attended by PT LIB, PSSI, club representatives and League 1 and Liga 2 match equipment.
The 2020 Medical Workshop Extraordinary Competition involved eight speakers, most of whom were expert doctors. They are dr. Bonnie Pahlavie (DKI Jakarta Health Office), dr. Syarif Alwi, dr. Ahmad Nizar Caesarea Noor, M.Kes and dr. Alfan Nur Asyhar.
This Medical Workshop was held as part of the preparation for the continuation of the competition with the aim of educating the team about health protocols that will be applied when the competition rolls around.
This workshop is divided into three sessions. First, government coaching and supervision for football competitions in the adaptation period for new habits, then sessions discussing health guidelines in club activities, and match operational protocols.
Director of PT LIB, Akhmad Hadian Lukita said this activity was not only intended to provide information about health protocols. But also to foster public awareness that at the present time.
"We must always adapt to new habits in various activities, including wearing masks, washing hands and maintaining distance," he said.
"We also realize that the task that will be assigned to the medical team is two or three times heavier than usual. It takes care, discipline and high commitment for all medical officers in the club and in organizing matches," said the Operational Director of PT LIB, Insp. Gen. Pol (P ) Drs Sudjarno.
The continued competition for League 1 2020 will start on October 1, 2020. All preparations have been made by PT LIB as the operator and PSSI.
