FIA Asked For Sanctions From Russian Drivers, Nikita Mazepin's Position In F1 Threatened

JAKARTA – The Ukrainian Automotive Federation (FAU) has asked the International Automobile Federation (FIA) to ban all Russian and Belarusian drivers from competing at international level, including Formula 1.

This makes the Russian racer, Nikita Mazepin, threatened his position. As is known, Mazepin is currently the driver of the Haas team.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine had a major impact on athletes from the Red Bear Country. One of them is Mazepin.

Not long ago, British television news anchor, Jeremy Clarkson, "attacked" Mazepin on his Twitter account. He asked Mazepin to return to the country and race there.

Meanwhile, FAU President Leonid Kostyuchenko, also asked the FIA to issue a ban on the use of state symbols of the Russian Federation and the Belarusian Republic during competitions organized and approved by the FIA.

Furthermore, the FAU also demanded a ban on competitions organized and approved by the FIA on the territory of the Russian Federation and the Belarusian Republic.

The FAU also wants competitions organized by the Russian Automobile Federation (RAF) and approved by them in occupied Ukraine, not be held. Then all members of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus were expelled from the FIA.
