Ibrahimovic's Arrival In Milan Opens The Serie A Transfer Window

JAKARTA - The January transfer window has opened where two big steps will be completed as of today, Thursday. Dejan Kulusevski will undergo a medical at Juventus, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic will arrive in Milan.

Serie A matches will return from the Christmas and New Year holidays on January 5. Currently, a number of clubs are busy strengthening their troops.

Several agreements have occurred, such as Milan announcing the joining of Ibrahimovic after his MLS career with LA Galaxy ended. He will be in the city of fashion today for a medical at the Milan Lab, followed by a presentation press conference on Friday evening.

Milan will tie Ibrahimovic with a 6-month contract with an option to extend for one year. Ibrahimovic played for the first time for Milan in the 2010-2012 period. With 85 matches and 56 goals in all competitions, he managed to donate the 2010-2011 Scudetto and the 2011-2012 Supercoppa Italiana.

Juventus is also open for business, with winger Atalanta Kulusevski set to undergo a medical this morning before completing a transfer. The Sweden international arrived in Turin on Wednesday evening and checked into his hotel.

However, it remains to be seen whether he will continue his loan spell at Parma until June or join his fellow Juventus team directly.

The winger's transfer fee is reportedly worth 35 million euros plus a bonus of 10-15 million euros related to performance and advertising.

So far this season, Kulusevski, 19, has scored four goals and seven assists in 17 Serie A games for Parma.
