JAKARTA - Manchester United coach, Ralf Rangnick gave bad news ahead of his team's meeting with Burnley in week 24 of the 2021/2022 Premier League.

Rangnick reported on Fred's latest condition, which tested positive for COVID-19. The Brazilian midfielder followed his teammate, Alex Telles, who tested positive first.

From the information given by Rangnick, both of them are currently undergoing isolation according to health protocols. But this situation allows Fred and Telles to miss the next few games.

“Unfortunately today, the same thing (positive confirmation of being exposed to COVID-19) happened to Fred. That's why he will miss tomorrow's game, maybe even the Southampton game," Rangnick said, quoted from Manchester United's official website.

Nevertheless, other good news is also present for the Red Devils. Rangnick confirmed Jesse Lingard, Edinson Cavani and Raphael Varane as well as Paul Pogba could feature in the match at Turf Moor Stadium.
